Employment Pass — Work pass for professionals
The work pass that lets foreign professionals, managers, executives and technicians work in Singapore.
The form is downloaded and submitted on the authority's website.
What this form is for
- Work in Singapore as a foreign professional, manager, executive or technician. Candidates must meet the minimum salary and assessment (COMPASS) criteria set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- The employer, or an appointed employment agent, applies; the candidate does not need to be in Singapore at that stage.
Documents to have ready
- Your valid passport
- Your educational certificates and work history
- From the employer: job details and proof the vacancy was advertised and all candidates were fairly considered
Where to send it
The employer applies through MOM's EP eService. If an in-principle approval (IPA) is granted, you have 6 months to enter Singapore and get the pass issued; fingerprint and photo registration may then be required.
